{"id":287,"date":"2018-09-17T11:13:41","date_gmt":"2018-09-17T09:13:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nicola.intargetfactory.net\/?p=287"},"modified":"2023-06-06T16:52:49","modified_gmt":"2023-06-06T14:52:49","slug":"within-my-moments","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nicola.intargetfactory.net\/nikblog\/blog\/within-my-moments\/","title":{"rendered":"Within  my moments."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Road to moments.<\/strong><br \/>\nThat\u2019s how my love for photography was born, in a moment during the holidays after high school, when, more out of fascination than curiosity, I held the camera owned by my friend\u2019s brother, a photographer, and looked through the lens for the first time. Moments.<\/p>\n<p>Knowing how to capture the moment: like when I went to buy my first camera, a Pentax K1000 SLR. I still own it now. An encounter of a moment , to a lifetime of photography and understanding that the road I was taking would, inevitably, lead me to black and white: because black and white is freedom, interpretation. And that in itself is colour. It\u2019 s the power of the message, with no distractions. Moments. One moment is enough because life changes direction. In one moment I accept the offer to go along with the Red Cross as a photographer in the Gulf War, in the next I say goodbye to my father, I put my personal choices aside and stay. But I don\u2019 t stop taking photographs. Moments. You only need a moment to take a photograph in the street, my favourite setting.<\/p>\n<p>To be \u201cchosen\u201d by the right camera, the one that makes shooting as natural as breathing, and never want to leave it: that\u2019 s how I felt with Leica.<\/p>\n<p>And those are the moments that I photograph : moments in everyday life, of real life, of humanity. My thirty years of experience as a photographer are a collection of moments, some lasting the time it takes to capture them in a photo, others stretching over time, becoming new roads to be taken. That\u2019 s why I look for moments in the street: because here is where we are what we are, where anything or nothing can happen but even that \u201cnothing\u201d is simply a reflection of human nature.<\/p>\n<p><em>The essence of my story, shot after shot<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Road to moments.
